Local Business Leader Shares Small Business Solutions

Brisbane’s very own Louise Broekman, Founder and Director of growing national company HR Coach, will share practical strategic solutions facing SMEs at the inaugural BIG Small Business Solutions Seminar on Monday 1 September at Brisbane Technology Park.

Louise was a finalist in the 2007 Queensland Telstra Business Women's Awards for her research into entrepreneurial leadership and strategies for team development for Australia's fast-growing SME industry.

Louise will join an informative panel discussion led by financial advisor and TV Presenter, David Koch to discuss the future of SMEs in Australia based on economic and government trends. She will also wrap up the day’s program by highlighting the importance of integrating employee management into every organisation’s business plan.

“HR Coach translates research into real-life HR solutions for SMEs who know so well that employees are the lifeblood of any business and pivotal to business growth. Since our launch in July of the national STAR Workplace Program, a genuine employer benchmarking initiative, we have helped many Australian companies change their priorities to keep valued staff.”

“This Brisbane-first event is an incredible opportunity for every small business to get the latest insights from industry leaders and meet valuable contacts for their own business.”

The day’s seminar spans topics from business law to brand marketing for small business, including a presentation by renowned bakery entrepreneur Tom O’Toole.

The seminar will kick off at 8:45am until Louise closes the day at 6:00pm with a keynote speech during the cocktail reception.
