HR Coach hosts Annual Conference on Gold Coast

HR Coach hosted the 2008 Annual Conference at Surfers Paradise on May 15- 17th.  This year’s conference marked the launch of the nationally recognized STAR Workplace Program.  An initiative of the HR Coach Research Institute, the STAR Workplace Program recognizes and celebrates engaged and high performing workplaces.  To learn more about the STAR Workplace Program, visit www.starworkplace.com.au .

Additional initiatives presented at the Conference included the Executive presentation of the HR Coach Research Institute's Gen Y Pilot Study, "Generation Y's Effect on Strategy".  This proved to be topical information that is meeting a current need in the business sector.  One HR Coach Network Member has already been asked to present the findings at a local conference in Regional Victoria in late May.

Louise Broekman, Founder and Director of HR Coach, commented in her opening address to the delegates that the theme of this year's conference, "Riding the Wave", aptly describes the success of the HR Coach Network over the last 12 months.  With 26 offices across Australia the HR Coach Network continues to be the largest HR Coaching organisation in Australia.  With strong demand forecasted for HR Coaching services for the future the focus in on the opening of new offices over the next 12 months to meet the demand.

HR Coach would like to thank this year's conference sponsors, speakers and supporters for their valuable contribution to the HR Coach Network.
