HR Coach Network Member teams up with Youth InSearch

HR Coach Network Member, Peoplism, has recently commenced work with Youth Insearch, a Sydney based youth organisation providing young people with the opportunity to change their lives. 

Youth Insearch was started in 1985 by the inspirational Ron Barr OAM and his wife Judith Barr OAM to empower young people to take control of their lives. The unique approach of the Youth Insearch program has been proven to be one that has achieved outstanding results in re-building the lives of more than 27,000 young Australians across NSW, Queensland and Victoria.

Matt Davidson, CEO of Youth Insearch since 2007, identified a need for a greater focus on the foundation’s own valued people. His challenge, similar to many small/ medium businesses, was to find an effective solution to enable Youth Insearch to provide a structure that encourages employee contribution, growth and development, whilst containing costs.

Jan Cope, Director of Peoplism, said “I am very grateful for the opportunity to work with a dynamic, results focussed organisation like Youth InSearch. The work they are doing in the community is inspiring and their commitment to looking after their employees will continue to allow the organisation to achieve positive results.”
By using HR Coach Methodology, Jan is able to benchmark, identify priorities and create a practical plan specifically for Youth Insearch. A flexible approach enables her to work alongside Matt and the team as needed, providing a peace of mind that their own people are given the focus they need, while they concentrate their energies on the camp programs and meeting the foundations ever challenging objectives.

With a strategy to grow the ‘Camp Program’ footprint into Central and Northern Australia, Youth Insearch will continue to assist many more kids in need by experiencing first hand ‘Love In Action’ and actively supporting them to turn their lives around.  HR Coach and Peoplism look forward to developing a long term relationship with Youth Insearch as they expand to meet the constant increase in need of supporting and guiding our young Australians.
